The entry-level Realme C2 smartphone was also announced today alongside the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India today. It has arrived as the successor for the Realme C1 from last year and Realme C1 (2019) that was unveiled at the beginning of this year. The smartphone sports an impressive smudge-free diamond-cut design and some interesting specs.
Realme C2 Specifications
The Realme C2 comes with a 6.1-inch Dewdrop notch enabled IPS LCD pane. It supports HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ration and it offers a screen-to-body ratio of nearly 90 percent. The 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 chipset that includes an octa-core processor that works at 2.0 GHz. Its packed with a 4,000mAh battery. The ColorOS 6.0 skinned Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the smartphone. The phone comes with up to 3 GB of RAM and up to 32 GB of native storage.
When it comes to photography, the Realme C2 features a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras and AI enabled front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. The smartphone lacks a fingerprint scanner, but it comes equipped with AI facial unlock feature.
Realme C2 Price and Release Date
The Realme C2 comes in Diamond Blue and Diamond Black color variants. The two variants of the phone are 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage. These models are respectively priced at Rs. 5,999 (~$86) and Rs. 7,999 (~$115).
The first sale of the phone will be carried out through Realme.com and Flipkart from 12 PM on May 15. The smartphone will be also available offline. The Realme C2 buyers will be provided with benefits of Rs. 5,300 (~$76) from Jio.
