At the beginning of this OPPO had launched the OPPO Reno series of smartphones in China. The Oppo Reno Standard Edition that is powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC went on sale from April 19. However, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom that is fueled by Snapdragon 855 mobile platform is still not available for purchase. OPPO Vice President Shen Yiren has confirmed today through a Weibo post that the Reno 10x Zoom will be available for purchase starting from May 10.
OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Price
The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB variant of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is priced at 3,999 Yuan (~$595). The 6 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the smartphone costs 4,499 Yuan (~$670) whereas the highest configuration model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at 4,799 Yuan (~$715).
These variants will be available in colors like Fog Sea Green and Extreme Night Black. The Chinese firm is now receiving the reservations of the smartphone.
OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Specifications
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom flagship phone boasts a very screen-to-body ratio since it features a massive and notch-less 6.6-inch OLED screen. It produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Gorilla Glass 6 protects the marvelous display of the phone.
The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform fuels the Reno 10x Zoom smartphone. It is packed with a 4,065mAh battery. The handset supports 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. The ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie OS comes loaded on the device. It lacks support for 3.5mm audio jack.
The “shark fin” shaped pop-up camera module has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and an LED flash. Placed on the rear side of the phone is a vertical triple camera unit that includes a 48-megapixel primary lens with OIS, a 13-megapixel periscope-type telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS and a ultra wide-angle lens of 8-megapixel. The USP of the phone is that it offers 10x hybrid zoom.
The OPPO Reno series of smartphones will go official in Europe tomorrow. The Chinese firm is expected to announce a 5G version of the Reno 10x Zoom at the European launch event. The Reno and Reno 10x Zoom are also rumored to arrive in India by the end of June.
