On April 23, Lenovo had announced the Snapdragon 855 Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship phone. The handset has been available for reservations since its announcement. Its sales are scheduled to begin on April 29. The Chinese firm has confirmed that 200,000 units of the Lenovo Z6 Pro have been registered in a single day after its launch. Such is the popularity of the phone that has arrived in China with a starting price of 2,899 Yuan (~$430).

The Lenovo Z6 Pro has been available for registrations through platforms like official online store of Lenovo, Jingdong Mall and Tmall. The Lenovo Z6 Pro will be releasing in China in four models.

The 6 GB / 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants are respectively priced at 2,899 Yuan (~$430) and 2,999 Yuan (~$445). The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the Z6 Pro costs 3,799 Yuan (~$545). The most powerful variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is priced at 4,999 Yuan (~$743). The smartphone can be availed in gradient color options of Red and Green.

Lenovo Z6 Pro Specifications

The Lenovo Z6 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display. The waterdrop-style notched screen produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It features an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The Snapdragon 855 SoC powers all the four variants of the Z6 Pro. The ZUI 11 based Android 9 Pie comes preloaded on the device. There is an Ultra Game Mode on the phone for accelerated graphics and CPU performance while gaming. The smartphone comes with Coldfront PC-level liquid cooling for heat dissipation.

Lenovo Z6 Pro

The small notch on the front is fitted with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear side of the phone features a quad camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2-megapixel dedicated video camera. It also features ToF 3D camera. The 4,000mAh battery of the Z6 Pro carries support for 27W rapid charging.
