Xiaomi’s second-generation gaming smartphone — Black Shark 2, has landed in the hands of YouTuber JerryRigsEverything and now we have the information about the phone’s durability based on the tests done by the YouTuber.

The smartphone has its front and back panel with a glass layer while the body is made up of metal with anodized finish on top and the buttons are also made up of metal. In the scratch test, it appears that while the phone doesn’t get easily scratched, but the grooves are quite prominent.

Because of the metal build, the smartphone passes through the bend test. Even when the pressure is applied, the phone hardly bends, thanks to the better structural integrity because of metal build.

The phone comes with dual back camera sensors, which are protected by a layer of scratch-resistant glass. As for the display, in the heat test, it took around 20 seconds before the screen started turning white, but seems like it never fully recovered.
