The very popular Japanese video game company – Nintendo today announced the closed beta for much-awaited Mario Kart Tour game for Android users (excluding certain devices). At this time, only users in the US and Japan are eligible to register for the closed beta. The registrations are already live from April 23, 2019, and will remain active till May 7, 2019, 07:59 PM PT.

Mario Kart closed beta testing will continue from May 22, 2019, to June 04, 2019. However, the dates may change according to the need without prior notice.

Interested users may register for the closed beta by linking their Nintendo Account to a valid Gmail account. Once done, users just need to wait until Nintendo selects some random users who would be able to download the closed beta via Google Play Store. The selected users would be among the first individuals to get hands-on the closed beta testing aimed to improve the quality of the game.

Moreover, Nintendo had already announced about the delay in Mario Kart Tour’s official launch until summers. The company did not reveal any features of the upcoming game. Even though the feature of online racing against friends is not confirmed too.

Mario Kart is the fifth title Nintendo developed in collaboration with mobile developer DeNA. However, Nintendo is independently developing Dr. Mario World for iOS and Android scheduled for release in 2019.

Just like everyone, we’re excited too for the official release scheduled for this summer.
