Samsung has been working on a fitness tracker designed for fans who don’t need the full user experience smartwatch offers but at the same time want a fitness tracker for basic parameters like heart rate, pulse etc. The device dubbed Galaxy Fit-e was spotted last week on Samsung Albania’s site. The device has again reappeared on the company’s Portugal website where the Galaxy Fit-e and Galaxy Fit are open for pre-booking.Samsung Galaxy Fit-e

It will run on the Cortex M0 processor with only 128KB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage. The fitness tracker only supports incoming notifications without the option to respond. Among the features onboard include notification interactions, automatic motion detection as well as sleep, stress, and heart-rate tracking thanks to its accelerometer, gyroscope and heart rate sensors. The device will pack a 120 mAh battery which will last as long as 7 days of autonomous use. The tracker weighs 23 grams and features the same MIL-STD-810G ruggedness and Bluetooth 5.0 support as the cheaper Fit-e.
