Realme has recently confirmed that it will be launching a pop-up selfie camera phone called Realme X. A tipster has shared some of the key specs of the phone on Weibo. He has revealed that the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 730 mobile platform that was first seen on the Samsung Galaxy A80 phone. The leakster has also revealed the price and variants of the upcoming Realme X phone.

Realme X Specifications (Rumored)

The new leak has revealed that the Snapdragon 730 powered Realme X smartphone will be equipped with 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. The smartphone will be equipped with an elevating camera.

Through TENAA it has been revealed that the Realme X will come equipped with a 6.5-inch notch-less display. According to the tipster, the display of the Realme X will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and it will be equipped with an sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint reader. TENAA has also revealed that the smartphone is packed with a minimum capacity battery of 3,680mAh battery. The new leak states that it will carry support for VOOC 3.0 flash charging technology.

The Realme X will be releasing in China in three models such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These models are rumored to be respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan, 1799 Yuan and 1,999 Yuan. The tipster has added that the Realme X will be a worthy rival for Redmi’s upcoming Snapdragon 730 driven phone. The Redmi SD730 phone is also expected to arrive with a notch-less display and a pop-up selfie camera.

Realme X Lite and Realme X Pro Rumors

It appears that the Realme X will not be the only Realme coming to China. Recently, Realme had launched the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in India. Tipster Ishan Agarwal has claimed that the same phone may debut in China as Realme X Lite or Realme X Youth.

The leakster who revealed the key specs of the Realme X phone claims that the company may launch a Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone. It is expected to arrival as a major rival for Redmi’s upcoming Snapdragon 855 flagship phone.

As of this writing, there is no information available on the launch date of Realme X. Since the Realme X and X Lite phone’s have been approved by China’s TENAA telecom authority, it appears that both phones may go official through the same unveil event in this month.
