The Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are scheduled to launch in Inda on May 8. The phones will be cheaper and less-powerful versions of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL that launched last year. Ahead of their release, key specs of both phones have been released. There are also images of the Pixel 3a’s retail box.

The specs were posted on Twitter by @Samsung_News_. According to the source, the Pixel 3a will have a 5.6-inch 2220 x 1080 FHD+ “gOLED” display with 441ppi and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone will pack a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging. It will also have support for the Pixel 2’s Now Playing feature.

The Pixel 3a will weigh about 150 gams and be available in Just Black, Clearly white, and Purple-ish. No kidding, it is actually called Purple-ish.

The larger Pixel 3a XL will have a bigger 6.0-inch OLED display with a ppi of 402. Its bigger screen also gets it a bigger battery capacity of 3700mAh with 18W fast-charging. Just like the smaller model, it will have the Now Playing feature and come in the same colors.

The processor under the Pixel 3a XL is the Snapdragon 670 and the Pixel 3a is presumed to have the same chipset.

Images of the Pixel 3’s retail box have also leaked. The phone will come in a white box that has an image of the rear of the phone on it. There is a single camera with an LED flash and fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. The Pixel 3a also has a yellow power button.

The side of the box has a few specs such as the screen size – 5.6-inches, the storage capacity – 64GB, and model number – GO20G. The source says there will also be a 128GB version.

He also reveals the base price for the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The former will sell for $399 and the larger XL variant will be sold for $479.
