After months of leaks, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are now official. Both devices are less-powerful versions of the Pixel 3 but their selling point is their incredible camera, which is the same as that of their more powerful siblings.

Pixel 3a

We have already run through the specs in the past few weeks, so we will just rush through some key ones. Both phones have OLED displays with Asahi’s Dragontrail glass protection, Snapdragon 670 processors, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Nope, no 128GB version. The 3a has a 3000mAh battery while the 3a XL has a 3700mAh. There is support for 18W fast charging and USB Power Delivery 2.0.

The Pixel 3a duo both have a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 primary rear camera and an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera. All the camera features you love on the Pixel 3 such as Night Sight, Top Shot, HDR+, and Super Res Zoom are present on both devices. There is unlimited photo backup to Google Photos but in high quality and not original quality.

Unlike the Pixel 3 duo, the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL have an audio jack. They also support USB-C audio. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and Active Edge.
