Lenovo Group VP Chang Cheng had recently confirmed that the company will be holding an unveil event on May 22. Since the company has recently launched the Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship phone, it is expected to introduce some mid-range phones through the upcoming event. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has released the first teaser of the upcoming Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition (aka Lenovo Z6 Lite) that may go official through May 22 launch event.
Through the first teaser of the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition, the company claims that it will make accurate positioning into reality. It indicates that the smartphone may carry support for dual-frequency GPS technology. The moniker of the phone suggests that it will be a mid-range phone.
Dual-frequency GPS has been available only on flagship phones like Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 9, Huawei Mate 20 and Honor V20, OPPO 10x Zoom. Lenovo’s teaser suggests that the Z6 Youth Edition could be the cheapest smartphone to carry support for L1 and L5 dual frequencies for accurately tracking location. The Chinese manufacturer has not confirmed any other information on the specs and features of the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition.
Recently, a Lenovo phone with model number L78121 was approved by 3C certification body. The listing had confirmed that it could be arriving with support for 18W fast charging. The model numbers of the Lenovo’s Z-series of smartphones begin with “L78.” Hence, it was speculated that the L78121 could be releasing as a Z-series phone. Probably, the L78121 smartphone could be releasing as the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition. The smartphone may soon appear on TENAA with its specs and images.
The Lenovo L38111 is the other phone that it speculated to go official on May 22. The smartphone has a mid-range K-series phone. Its TENAA listing has revealed that it will be arriving with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop-type notch, an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.2 GHz and up to 6 GB of RAM. It may come with around 4,000mAh battery, a dual camera setup with 16-megapixel primary lens and a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel. The phone will be loaded with Android 9 Pie OS and it may arrive with a maximum inbuilt storage of 128 GB. Probably, this phone could release as Lenovo K6 Note (2019).
