Google took off the wraps from Android Q Beta 3 at Google IO 2019 developer conference. Huawei is now looking for developers to participate in the Android Q Developer Recruitment program. The program aims to accelerate the Android Q beta development across Huawei devices, starting with Mate 20 Pro.

Along with the Android Q improvements, Huawei will additionally amend security and user privacy protection. The company plans to restrict the cross-app data collection as per the users’ need. These new developments will facilitate users with improved control over their devices. There are a dozen more changes including the Android Q’s system-wide dark mode, improved Digital Wellbeing and parental control which will be a part of the upcoming beta tests.

Android Q’s features like native 5G support and foldable smartphone’s compatibility will be extended for devices like Huawei Mate X.

Interested users can apply for Friendly User Test by going through the below-mentioned instructions.

  1. Download Huawei Beta Club App on your device.
  2. Accept Terms and Conditions before logging into your Huawei ID.
  3. After logging in Join Beta Campaign by heading to Personal > Join Project > Available Project.
  4. Once done, you will receive HOTA upgrade notification automatically.
