At the recent Computex 2019, Intel announced a number of products but one that stood out is the 10nm CPUs nicknamed Ice Lake. The processor features the Sunnycove microarchitecture and is ready to ship immediately.Intel Ice Lake

The 10th generation processors come with a number of big changes from its predecessors, one of which is big architectural improvements. The new processor is the biggest update Intel has made in its processors since 2015. There is also a brand new integrated GPU (Gen 11 graphics).

The fact sheet provided shows major improvements in power efficiency as well, for those who are more concerned about the battery. The specs show up to 16-hour battery life laptops can be expected in the next wave which potentially makes all-day computing very much a possibility. The chipset also comes with WiFi6 and 5G, making the next wave of notebooks and ultrabooks that would utilize the processor to hold lots of promises.
