The OPPO K3 smartphone was introduced in China in May with an affordable starting price of 1,599 Yuan (~$231). Its 6 GB RAM models have been available for purchase from the start of this month. Starting from today, customers who are interested in buying the OPPO K3 can purchase its 8 GB RAM variant.

The OPPO K3 variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage have been available for purchase in China since June 1. These models are respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$231) and 1,899 Yuan (~$274). As the below poster shows, OPPO has begun sales of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of OPPO K3 from today. It carries a price tag of 2,299 Yuan (~$332). Buyers can avail the new model in three color options such as Nebula Purple, Farm Black and Morning White color editions.

The OPPO K3 has an AMOLED display of 6.5 inches that carries support for full HD+ resolution. The notch-less display offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The AMOLED display is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint scanner The Snapdragon 710 AIE is at the helm of the OPPO K3. The Color OS 6.0 flavored Android 9 Pie OS comes preloaded on the device. The handset lacks support for expandable storage.

The back panel of the OPPO K3 features a dual camera setup with an f/1.7 aperture 16-megapixel primary sensor and a f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel depth sensor. Placed on the top edge of the device is a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone features a 3,765mAh battery that carries support for VOOC 3.0 rapid charging technology. The handset is equipped with usual connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
