Samsung had launched the Galaxy M30 in February this year. The M-series of phones from Samsung that are exclusively sold online in India have garnered good reception from the audience. This has allowed the South Korean company to generate $1billion through online sales this year in the country. The company has recently launched a Snapdragon 675 powered Galaxy M40 phone with punch-hole display for Rs. 19,990 (~$287) in India. To increase online sales, the firm may launch new M-series smartphones before the end of 2019. An exclusive report from Sammobile reveals that Samsung is now working on a new version of Galaxy M30.

It has been only few months since the launch of Galaxy M30. Hence, its new version may not be a successor model, but it may arrive with slight improvement in the specs. The publication has revealed that the new Galaxy M30 has a model number of SM-M307F. The model number of the original Galaxy M30 is SM-M305F. As of this writing, there is no information on what improvements will be available on the SM-M307F smartphone.

The new version of the Galaxy M30 could be dubbed as Galaxy M30s. Probably, it could be slotted between Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M40 smartphones. The M30s may come equipped with new cameras and it arrive with One UI 1.1 based Android 9 Pie OS onboard. The publication has calimed that like the M30, the alleged M30s will be also coming in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices.

Not only the Galaxy M30s, rumors are rife that the upgraded A-series Galaxy phones are also launching in the latter half of this year. The rumor mill has claimed that phones like Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A70s are in development. The A70s and A30s are expected to debut in color options like black, white and lavender. The Galaxy A20s may come in blue and black colors. No information is available on the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A smartphones. A recent report had claimed Samsung may debut its ISOCELL GW1 64-megapixel sensor on the Galaxy A70s smartphone. Hopefully, more information on these smartphones may surface in the coming weeks to reveal more details.
