Recently, a new Samsung tablet with model number SM-T545 and SM-T545X was approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Today, the SM-T545 Galaxy tablet has popped on Geekbench benchmarking platform. It reveals that it may debut as the first Snapdragon 710 chipset powered tablet.

On Geekbench, the Galaxy SM-T545 has appeared with Snapdragon 710 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the Galaxy SM-T545 has respectively scored 929 and 4450 points.

Before the arrival of the Snapdragon 730, the Snapdragon 710 chipset from last year was the next SoC after the Snapdragon 855 for mobile devices.  It appears that the tablet will slot itself between the Snapdragon 670 chipset driven Galaxy Tab S5e and the upcoming Galaxy Tab S5 that is expected to feature Snapdragon 855 chipset. The SM-T545 and SM-T545X could be its LTE versions and its Wi-Fi only version may have SM-T540 model number.

In related news, Samsung has an entry-level tablet waiting in the pipeline to go official. Rumors have it that SM-T295, SM-T295C, SM-T295N and SM-T295C are the LTE editions of the tablet. The SM-T290 will be its Wi-Fi only edition. The tablet is expect4ed to arrive with specs like 8-inch display, Snapdragon 429 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of inbuilt storage and Android 9 Pie OS. Unfortunately, the exact moniker of the tablet is not known yet. However, it is expected to arrive as an entry-level Galaxy Tab A device.

In August, the South Korean company will be announcing the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro smartphones. Just like the Galaxy Tab S4 was made official around the time Galaxy Note 9 was announced in August 2019, the firm is expected to unleash the Galaxy S5 flagship tablet around the time Galaxy Note 10 series is made official.

The Galaxy Tab S5 was spotted on Geekbench earlier this month with Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie OS. The tablet is expected to carry support for keyboard connectivity and S-Pen stylus. Like the predecessor model lacked a 3.5mm audio jack. Hence, the Galaxy Tab S5 is unlikely to feature it.
