The premium Mi Mix 3 flagship has gotten its biggest price cut yet on Xiaomi‘s official website. The Mi Mix 3 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is presently on offer for 2299 yuan (~$334) which is 1000 yuan (~$145) lower than its initial price of 3299 yuan ($479). The price of the 8GB+128GB variant also comes down to 2599 yuan ($377) from 3599 yuan ($523). Finally, the 8GB+256GB variant is on offer for 2999 yuan ($435), down from 3999 yuan ($581).

The new price offer is a limited time offer. It opened today (June 25) and will end on June 26 at 0.00. Despite the price cut, buyers will still get a free 10W wireless charge for each unit purchased.

We must say that this is the highest price cut the Mi Mix 3 is getting since it was launched last year. It is rare for a hot-selling model to get such huge price cut except the company is trying to clear the shelves for the arrival of a successor. The price cut could be an indication that Xiaomi is preparing the ground for the arrival of the Mi Mix 4. However, Xiaomi has maintained a watertight silence regarding details of the Mix 4. Since the Mi Mix 3 and previous models were launched around September and October, it is still too early to say.

The Mi Mix 3 still remains one of Xiaomi’s best smartphones to date, a flagship phone at that. To refresh our memories, the device packs a 6.39-inch 1080 x 2340 display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a slider design, so the front cameras are hidden when the phone is closed.  The front-facing cameras are a 24MP + 2MP sensor and on the rear is a 12MP wide-angle lens paired with another 12MP telephoto lens.Mi Mix 3

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and also comes in 8GB RAM and 10GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB of storage. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 3,200mAh battery with support for wireless charging and Quick Charge 4+. It doesn’t have an audio jack nor does it have a MicroSD card slot. The phone runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
