LG Electronics is popularly known for its televisions throughout the globe. The company has unveiled new AI-powered televisions in India. The new range of AI ThinQ TVs come with built-in Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Airplay 2 support. There are various models launched under its SMART, LED, UHD, NanoCell, and OLED AI ThinQ Televisions range.

The AI ThinQ series include different sizes varying from 80 cms or 32-inches to 195 cms or 77-inches. Talking about prices, the new TVs starts from Rs 24,990 (~2510 Yuan) and goes up to Rs 10,99,990 (~ 110521 Yuan). Notably, the UHD TV begins at Rs 50,990, and the NanoCell TVs will cost around Rs 82,990.

In Software, the LG TVs comes packed with various OTT (over-the-top) apps such as Amazon Prime Video, NetFlix, Hungama Play, YouTube, Eros Now, Altbalaji, YuppTV, and Zee5. The Korean giant also offers Google Assitant and Amazon Alexa seamless integration on all its 2019 OLED TV lineup. Moreover, the customers can benefit from the Apple HomeKit integration on selected OLED and NanoCall TV models.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Younchul Park, Director-Home Entertainment, LG Electronics India, said, “We’re thrilled to introduce Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and AirPlay2 in our televisions that will certainly bring more convenience to our customers. This addition is LG’s commitment to simplifying the customers’ lives. He further added, “We are confident that this new feature will elevate the home entertainment experience of both our existing and future consumer.”

LG’s NanoCell TV range features thin bezels, vivid color reproduction along with Full Array Dimming support. The overall TV viewing experience has improved a lot in comparison with conventional LED TVs. The new TVs are also aimed to provide immersive TV experience with their thin bezels.

LG has also emphasized to improve the audio quality with the next generation α 9 Gen 2 technology. It makes sound clear and crisp. The inbuilt AI further enhances the sound based on the environment and the type of content.

Other features include HDR support, Dolby Vision for cinematic experience along with improvements like HDR10 Pro, HLG Pro HDR, and Dolby Atmos. LG has improved its mobile connectivity with the addition of the Mobile Connection Overlay.

AI ThinQ televisions are available in different sizes and display technology. Here are the details:

  • AI ThinQ NanoCell TV is available for Rs. 82,990 onwards (~$1211)
  • AI ThinQ OLED TV is starting at Rs. 2,09,990 onwards (~$3,060)
  • AI ThinQ UHD TV for Rs. 50,990 (~$745)
