Last month, along with the Nova 5 series smartphone, China-based Huawei also launched the MediaPad M6 tablet in its home market, which is the first tablet to come powered by the Kirin 980 processor.

Huawei Ark Compiler is the compilation and operation mechanism for the system as well as applications, which was introduced by Huawei to improve the compilation efficiency of Android system. The company had announced the technology for the first time in April 2019 at a domestic launch of the Huawei P30 series.

Along with the Ark compiler, the update for the M6 also optimizes the fingerprint unlock performance, voice assistant capabilities, improved user interface for the third-party applications in the cross-screen state, touch sensitivity and also enhances the stylus experience.
