The upcoming Honor 9X Pro smartphone is up for reservations on Vmall. The listing carries an official render of the phone that reveals its front design for the first time. Rumors surrounding the phone have claimed that it will be featuring a notch-less display. The official image confirms that it will indeed feature a notch-less screen.
At the time of this writing, the reservations of the Honor 9X reached around 1,300 mark. The glass rear of the phone has a marvelous X pattern with a triple camera setup. Recent reports have revealed that the Honor 9X will be featuring a dual camera setup whereas the Honor 9X Pro will be equipped with a triple camera setup. Hence, it appears that the smartphone shown in the Vmall listing is the Honor 9X Pro handset.
The Honor 9X with model variants such as HLK-AL00, HLK-AL10 and HLK-TL00 have appeared on TENAA with full specifications. The Kirin 810 chipset powered smartphone has also been benchmarked with 219,809 points on AnTuTu. However, the Honor 9X Pro is yet to appear on TENAA.

The TENAA listing of the Honor 9X handset has revealed that it measures 163.1 x 77.2 x 8.8mma and it weighs 206 grams. The smartphone is fitted with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD display with notch-less design. It offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The Honor 9X is powered by the 7nm Kirin 810 chipset and 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM. It may come in storage editions such as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. Its AnTuTu listing has revealed that one of its variants will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The other variants of the phone could be 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Android 9 Pie OS coupled with the latest version of EMUI will be running on the device.
The Honor 9X has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel and 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. Rumors have that the only major difference between the Honor 9X and 9X Pro is that the latter will come with an additional camera sensor as it in the official render above. The Honor 9X is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
