Lenovo recently launched its Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship smartphone which comes with an impressive set of specifications at a competitive price. Now, months after the phone’s launch DxOMark has released the ratings of the Lenovo Z6 Pro.
The smartphone has scored 95 points in the overall camera performance. The device scored 103 points for the photo performance and 79 points for the video performance. Overall, the Z6 Pro smartphone has surpassed the ratings of Apple iPhone 8 Plus, LG V40 ThinQ, among others.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro’s main camera makes use of a 48-megapixel 1/2-inch Quad-Bayer sensor coupled with a wide-angle (28mm equivalent) f/1.8 lens. Quad-Bayer sensors improve color, detail, and dynamic range by combining the signal from four adjacent pixels into one, which results in a final 12-megapixel (4000 × 3000 pixels) output.
For zoom shots, the smartphone also comes with an 8-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.4 telelens that, just like the primary camera, comes with PDAF autofocus. On the front side, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens but DxOMark has not included the front-facing camera in its testing protocols.
The smartphone features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ display which offers a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The screen of the phone is integrated with a sixth-generation in-display fingerprint reader which even works with wet fingers.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset that is clocked at 2.84GHz. The handset packs 6/8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage. It also comes with Coldfront liquid cooling technology that regulates the internal temperature of the device.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro runs Android 9 Pie operating system and comes preloaded with the company’s own ZUI 11 custom interface. For optimized gaming experience, the handset features Game Turbo game acceleration. The device is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery that carries support for 27W fast charging through USB-C.
