Since the past couple of years, Vivo has been actively introducing new and unique innovative technologies to its smartphones. After introducing features like full-screen display, pop-up front-facing camera, in-display fingerprint sensor, and others, the company is now introducing a new feature called “Dual Wi-Fi Acceleration”.

Vivo Dual Wi-Fi Feature

As the name indicates, the “Dual Wi-Fi Acceleration” feature can allow users to connect two Wi-Fi connections on the same device at the same time. Users can connect to another Wi-Fi connection on top of the main Wi-Fi.

The company claims that connecting two Wi-Fi networks at the same time can provide a mobile stable connection for gaming as well as faster and smoother web browsing experience. The device supports connecting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi at the same time.

A small video clip shared by the company shows a smart multi-network acceleration option in the phone which has Dual Wi-Fi feature enabled. When clicked on the option, it can connect to another Wi-Fi once the main Wi-Fi gets connected.

China-based Vivo has recently launched the Vivo S1 smartphone in Indonesia earlier this week, which is set to launch in India soon. Now, the company is also gearing up to launch the Vivo Z5 smartphone in China.

Another smartphone from Vivo carrying model number V1916A with support for 5G technology has been certified by 3C, which is being speculated to be the upcoming Vivo iQOO 5G smartphone.
