Recent reports have revealed Vivo will be soon launching an entry-level smartphone called Vivo Y90 in India. Plenty of details on its specs have already surfaced in the recent weeks. Today, live shots of the smartphone have appeared to reveal its two color variants in real.

The two live shots show that the Vivo V90 smartphone will be sporting a display with waterdrop notch. The bottom bezel of the device appears to be a bit thick. The handset will be come in two color options such as Black and Gold. The smartphone seems to be equipped with a polycarbonate rear. Since it is an entry-level smartphone, it only features a single rear camera and it lacks a fingerprint scanner.

Vivo Y90 live shotsAccording to a recent leak, the major highlights of the Vivo Y90 will be its big display, large battery and face unlock feature. The smartphone will be arriving with a 6.22-inch Halo FullView Display that will produce HD+ resolution.

The Vivo Y90 smartphone will be housing a 4,030mAh battery. Entry-level phones do not feature fast charging and same can be expected from the Vivo Y90. The modest Helio A22 chipset will be fueling the smrtphone with up to 3 GB of RAM. It may come with up to 32 GB of native storage. The FunTouch OS 4.5 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS may run on the device.

For snapping photos, it is likely to house a rear shooter of 8-megapixel and a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. For user authentication, the phone will offer users with face unlock feature. The smartphone is rumored to measure 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm.

The Vivo Y90 smartphone’s base model featuring 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage is expected to arrive in India with a price tag of Rs. 6,990. This pricing will allow it to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 7A, Realme C2 and Samsung Galaxy M10. There is no information available on the price tag of the higher 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage model. It could be priced less than Rs. 8,000. The smartphone may go official soon in the country.
