Redmi, a smartphone brand which split from its parent company Xiaomi earlier this year to work independently, has launched several phones this year. Recently, the company launched its flagship lineup — Redmi K20 series.

Now, when the Redmi K20 Summer Honey White color variant is set to go on sale in China from 1st August, the company has announced a price cut on other smartphone models as well, effective from 1st August.

Redmi Smartphones Price Cut

While we know that this new pricing will be applicable from 1st August in China, it is not yet known how long will this pricing be applicable. It’s not yet known if this is a permanent price cut or temporary but given that the Redmi K20 series is quite new, it’s unlikely that this is a permanent price cut.

The Redmi K20 Pro is the company’s flagship smartphone which was launched in China in May this year. It has turned out to be a best-seller for the independent Redmi brand, bringing in powerful specs at an affordable price tag.

The phone features a Snapdragon 855 flagship-grade processor, a 6.39-inch FHD display, up to 8GB + 256GB storage option, a triple camera setup of 48MP + 8MP + 13MP at the back and a considerably large battery of 4000mAh. It also comes with software features such as Mi Turbo and Game Turbo to boost UI and gaming experiences, respectively. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with 27W fast charging support.
