Vivo has launched a new smartphone called Vivo V17 Neo in Russia. It is the same phone that is available in China as Vivo Y7s and in Indonesia as Vivo S1. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop-style notch screen, triple rear cameras and a big battery.

The Vivo V17 Neo features a 6.38-inch S-AMOLED display that offer 19.5:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio 90 percent. The smartphone carries support for Always-On Display feature. A fingerprint scanner is embedded under the display of the phone.
The front notch of the phone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera that is equipped with AI Beauty for shooting impressive selfie shots. The smartphone is equipped with a triple camera setup on its rear. It has a primary lens of 16-megapixel Sony IMX499 primary lens, a wide-angle lens of 8-megapixel with a field-of-view of 120 degrees and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is the very same camera setup that is found on the Vivo Z1 Pro phone.
The 12nm MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core chipset that works at 2.0 GHz is present under the hood of the Vivo V17 Neo. It is assisted by 6 GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 128 GB. The smartphone houses a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 18W dual-engine fast charging.
The Android 9 Pie OS with the latest version of FunTouch OS UI runs on the Vivo V17 Neo. There is Ultra Game Mode on the phone for delivering optimized gaming experience on the V17 Neo smartphone. A single-click on the smart button placed on the left spine of the device gives quick access to Google Assistant. With double-tap, users can access Jovi image recognition feature. The V17 Neo comes with connectivity options such as dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo V17 Neo Price and Availability
Pearl Blue and Brilliant Black that features attractive diamond-cut design are the two color editions of the Vivo V17 Neo. The smartphone is available in Russia with a price tag of RUB 19,990 (~$313).
The Vivo V17 Neo will be debuting as Vivo S1 in India on Aug. 7. Rumors are rife that the Chinese firm will be debuting Vivo V17 and V17 Pro smartphones in the near future in India.
