We didn’t see this coming! Samsung is working on a new5G phone and it is not on the Galaxy S series. The Galaxy A90 may well become the first Galaxy A series model with 5G connectivity. The device has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G was first spotted on Geekbench last month packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, paired with 6GB of RAM and 5G capabilities. The device bears the model number SM-A908B model number.
WIFI Alliance certification page doesn’t reveal much about the phone. However, the certification listing confirms the device will run on Android 9 Pie and will support dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. Earlier rumours tip the device to pack a 48 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP camera triple camera setup alongside a “Tilt OIS” feature.

There is a 4G version of the Galaxy A90 with the model number. The 4G version has a slightly different camera setup consisting of a 48MP+8MP+5MP array. There are speculations that both phones will feature a 6.7-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolutions.
