At the early stages of large-screen, phablet-sized phones, some persons were sceptical about the prospect of such design. The design style soon caught on like wildfire and in a short while phone manufacturers started adopting the design style. In fact, the entire industry has shifted almost entirely away from small screen smartphones. So, the biggest casualty was small screen phones which seems to have gone into extinction. One OEM that have stayed true to the manufacture of compact size phone even though they are not trending anymore is Sony. Sony Xperia Compact

The Japanese tech giant has kept faith in its Xperia XZ Compact series that is characterized by small screen sizes. At  present, the screen sizes of most phones are 6 inches or more.

The IFA2019 exhibition will be unveiled in early September. According to the convention, Sony will launch the Xperia flagship at this exhibition, and there may be rumored small-screen mobile phone.Sony Xperia Compact

A Sony model with a compact size has appeared on HTML5 test database. The screenshot was shared recently on the XDA forum. The screenshot shows the device comes with the model number J9310. The device runs Android 10 and has a screen aspect ratio of 21:9. What is confusing is the 418×976 pixels resolution which was listed for the device. That is definitely not going to be the final resolution of the device.
