Huami Technology has officially launched the Amazfit Health Watch for sale in China today. The Amazfit Health Watch was first announced in China back in June but the price and availability details were left out. The device is now available on Tmall , Jingdong, Xiaomi , and Huami Mall. It comes in at 699 yuan ($99).
When the Amazfit Health Watch was released earlier this year, Huami touted it as the industry’s first smart watch with health monitoring as its core. It’s a fully functional health oriented smartwatch and the design is quite nice as well. The wearable is equipped with NB-IoT independent communication. It can report emergency health events in real time without Bluetooth connection. It can transmit important contents such as low heart rate, PPG monitoring, atrial fibrillation and fall detection. In addition, this watch can store up to 60 minutes of ECG data locally and last up to 7 days. The watch maker also offers users some cloud health services for users. You can directly log all your health data and get online consultation on your health, and there’s even a feature that issues an emergency SMS in case your heart acts up.

Amazfit Health Watch runs on the Huangshan No.1 chipset (MHS001), the world’s first wearable processor that comes integrated with AI neural network. The chipset features four core artificial intelligence engines — cardiac biometrics engine, ECG, ECG Pro, and Hearth Rhythm Abnormality Monitoring Engine. The watch comes in a bunch of different colours. They all come with silicone bands, with the exception of the brown variant that comes with a genuine leather strap.
