Realme India’s CEO has now effectively confirmed the price range of the Realme 5 earlier today. The CEO hinted that the company is bringing next week “the world’s 1st quad-camera smartphone under 10k”. INR10,000 converts to roughly $140. The device will also come with a powerful Qualcomm chipset that would be launching for the first time in India. A Realme model RMX1911 appeared on GeekBench packing a Snapdragon 665 SoC. This is believed to be the Realme 5.

Xiaomi Mi A3 is the only phone that uses a Snapdragon 665 chipset presently. So, even though the Realme 5 will be the only device in India rocking the SD 665 SoC, it won’t hold that title for long as the Mi A3 will debut a few days later.
