Xiaomi India has announced permanent price cuts on a range of smartphones such as Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7S, Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3. Prices have been slashed by up to Rs. 1,000 (~$14) effective immediately. The price cut is only applicable on purchases made at offline stores. This move aligns the offline and online prices of the four devices.

The Redmi 7 is the only device in Xiaomi’s lineup to receive a price cut of Rs. 500 (~$7). The 2 GB + 32 GB variant is now available at Rs. 7,499 (~$105) instead of Rs. 7,999 (~$112). Its 3 GB + 32 GB variant can be bought for Rs. 8,499 (~$119). The Redmi Y3 now retails at Rs. 8,999 (~$126), instead of Rs. 9,999 (~$140) for the 3 GB + 32 GB variant.

The recently released Redmi Note 7S retails at Rs. 9,999 (~$140) for the 3 GB + 32 GB variant, instead of Rs. 10,999 (~$154). While its higher-spec 4 GB + 64 GB variant carries a price tag of Rs. 11,999 (~$168). The Redmi Note 7 Pro now starts from Rs. 14,999 (~$210), instead of Rs. 15,999 (~$224) for the 6 GB variant. The price cut is applicable from today in offline markets of India and prospective buyers can visit any authorized retailer or Mi Home across the country to take advantage of the price drop.

The Redmi 7 is a budget-friendly phone from Xiaomi. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset and a 4,000mAh battery.It gets a 12+2-megapixel dual camera setup at the rear. The Redmi Y3 comes with a 6.26-inch display with a notch housing the 32-megapixel selfie lens, Snapdragon 632 SoC and it comes with a 4,000mAh battery. 

The Redmi Note 7S is powered by an underclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The highlight of the device is a 48-megapixel ISOCELL GM1 lens from Samsung that is used in the primary camera setup along with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The most premium product in the lineup is the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. It uses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as the primary camera, coupled with a 5-megapixel depth sensor in its dual cameras setup.The Redmi Note 7 Pro and Note 7S are both fitted with 6.3-inch displays and 4,000mAh batteries.
