The Realme 5 and 5 Pro launched a few days back in India with quad cameras. The same phone will soon be released in China as well. Now, the more powerful sibling, the Realme 5 Pro has just passed through TENAA confirming that the launch is nearing. The specifications of the device that passed TENAA is exactly the same as the Indian version.
The Realme 5 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 712 2.3GHz processor with 4GB and 64GB of storage. There should be more memory variants available at launch with up to 8GB RAM options. Realme has added a quad-camera setup on the device, a first for the brand, featuring a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP portrait lens. The front camera will be a 16MP sensor. The battery is also going to be the same as the Indian version featuring 4000mAh.

The Realme 5 Pro Chinese variant that passed TENAA comes in sparkling blue color. The company should launch the crystal green variant too at launch since green is trending in the smartphone industry these days. We still don’t have a release date for the Realme 5 Pro in China, but a new teaser hints that we could see it as soon as September 4. Since the Chinese pricing is usually lower than Indian pricing, we can expect it to start at around 1200 yuan (~$170).
