Tomorrow, OPPO will be announcing the Reno2 series of smartphone in India. The Reno2 lineup is also heading to China. It will be made official in the home market on Sept. 10. Ahead of the launch the OPPO Reno2 that has a model number of PCKM00 / PCKT00 has received approval from TENAA through which its entire specifications have been revealed. An OPPO phone with model number CPH1907 that is believed to be the international variant of the OPPO Reno2 has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG body through which some of its key specs have been revealed.

The OPPO CPH1907 Bluetooth listing reveals that it carries support Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. The handset is loaded with the latest ColorOS 6.0.1. It has a 6.5-inch display that offers full HD+ resolution. The handset is fueled by Snapdragon SM7150 SoC which is the internal name of the Snapdragon 730G SoC. It also reveals that the phone is equipped with a selfie camera of 16-megapixel and it houses a quad camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel lens, a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel lens. These specs match with the specs of the Reno2 that have appeared in the recent reports. Hence, it can be said that the CPH1907 could be the international version of the Reno2.

The Geekbench listing of the CPH1907 mentions a different processor for the phone. It reveals that the phone is fueled by Snapdragon 675 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. It appears that the benchmarking platform may have erroneously mentioned Snapdragon 730G as SM6150 or there could be a lower SD675 variant of the phone. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the CPH1907 has scored 2544 and 7033, respectively.

So far, it is known that the Reno2 will be flaunting a notch-less display like the original Reno smartphone. Also, it will retain the shark-fin shaped pop-up camera module. The display of the phone will be integrated with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The SoC of the phone will be coupled with 8 GB of RAM and it may arrive in 128 GB and 256 GB storage versions. The handset may house a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging. In India, it could be priced around Rs. 35,000 (~$487).
