Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 8 will go official on Thursday. Multiple reports have revealed the specifications, features and pricing of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Now, a leaked document has surfaced that has revealed the full specifications of the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
The leak reveals that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be featuring Gorilla Glass protection on its front and rear and it is equipped with reinforced corners for protection against drops. The IP52 rated chassis will come with special coating for protections from water splashes. Ice Jade, Fritillaria White and Electro-optic Ash are the three color options of the phone.
Redmi Note 8 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The Redmi Note 8 Pro measures 161.3 x 76.4 x 8.8mm and it weighs 199 grams. The handset is fitted with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The TUV Rheinland certified display will curb harmful blue rays emitted by it. It will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The MediaTek Helio G90T processor will power the handset with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. It will be arriving in the Chinese market in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS will come preloaded on the device. It is equipped with a microSD card slot for more storage.
The quad camera setup of the Redmi Note 8 Pro will include Samsung GW1 64-megapixel primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixeel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro video camera with a focal length of 2cm and a 2-megapixel depth senor. For snapping selfies, it will be equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie snapper.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro will receive power from a 4,500mAh battery that will carry support for 18W fast charging. Other features of the phone include NFC, IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, super linear speaker and smart PA. The images of the phone have revealed that it will be equipped with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
Redmi Note 8 Pro Pricing (Rumored)
The leak has no information on the pricing of the phone. However, through another leak it was found that the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage editions of the Redmi Note 8 Pro are respectively priced at 1,799 Yuan (~$251) and 2,099 Yuan (~$293).
