As we get close to the stable release of the new Android version, Redmi is also gearing up to release MIUI 10 based on Android 10. If you recall, the Redmi K20 Pro is a part of the Android Q Beta program. So users who were enrolled in this version already got a taste of the new Android 10 version. However, sticking to its tradition, Xiaomi would like select users to test out the new Android 10 based MIUI 10 ROM before a final rollout.
The users who are selected in this beta testing program will get special OTA update along with ‘Android 10 Tester’ group access. Apart from the Android 10 tester medal, top-performing users in the program will also get a chance to attend official Xiaomi launch events.
Your chances of getting into the program depend a lot on your contribution to the community. For example, you have to be an active member of the Mi community and should rank ‘Semi Pro Bunny’ or higher to apply. Thorough knowledge of MIUI and Android is a must along with the ability to follow up and take responsibilities.
