The Galaxy A-series has been transformed from an upper mid-range series to an all-encompassing series. While it already includes phones from the entry-level, mid-range, and upper mid-range category; Samsung is set to announce the first Galaxy A-series flagship – the Galaxy A90 5G. Ahead of its release, the phone’s retail box has leaked on the web and it gives us a close look at the design and also reveals some key specs.

The Galaxy A90 5G will have an Infinity-U display with black bezels running around it. The frame appears to be made from aluminum with a visible antenna line at the upper part. The volume control and power button are on the left as shown on the box.

On the rear, the Galaxy A90 5G has triple rear cameras arranged vertically at the left corner. All three sensors share the same housing, and below the sensors sit an LED flash. The A90 5G doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner on the back, so we are pretty sure there is one under that Super AMOLED display, though we can’t say if it is an ultrasonic type.

The Galaxy A90 5G is shown in white but there should be other color variants available at launch.

The back of the box reveals some of the phone’s specs. The Galaxy A90 5G will have an octa-core processor but as Samsung is known to do, the name of the processor isn’t revealed on the box. Leaks and benchmark results have revealed the processor inside the phone is none other than the Snapdragon 855. The SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone’s triple rear camera configuration is also listed on the box. The primary sensor is a 48MP camera and it is paired with 5MP and 8MP secondary sensors. The A90 5G also has a 32MP front-facing camera and supports 25W Super Fast Charging.

The Galaxy A90 5G still doesn’t have a release date but it sure will be launching in Samsung’s home country first.
