The Vivo Z1x is all set to launch in India. The unveil event is scheduled for 12PM on Sept. 6. The product page for the smartphone is up and running on Flipkart that will be solely selling the smartphone online in India. All major technical specifications of the smartphone are now available.
The landing page of Vivo Z1X has revealed that it is powered by a 10nm Snapdragon 712 SoC that tags along Adreno 616 GPU. There is no word on memory and storage options yet. Vivo promises Ultra fast gaming and multitasking with 10% overall performance improvement. Vivo claims that the Z1x has 25% better overall performance, 45% better graphics performance and 2x AI performance.
The smartphone features a triple camera setup at the rear. The primary camera is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor mated to an 8-megapixel super-wide sensor. The third lens is a 2-megapixel depth sensor for better bokeh photography. There is a dedicated LED flash module housed inside the rear camera unit. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor with AI Beauty.
The Vivo Z1x draws power from a 4500 mAh battery that supports 22.5W Vivo Flash Charge. Vivo claims that the smartphone adds 3 hours of talktime with a quick 5-minute recharge. The large battery offers 32.6 hours of talk time and 9.6 hours of video playback on YouTube.
The Vivo Z1X features a Super AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. The device gets an in-display fingerprint scanner that Vivo claims unlocks the device in just 0.48 seconds. The smartphone is likely to run on the Android 9.0 Pie-based FunTouch 9 OS.
There is no official word on the price and availability of the Z1x yet. The device is rumored to arrive in two color variants. The Vivo Z1X is the Indian edition of the Vivo Z5 that was unveiled in China in July.
