On Aug. 20, Realme India had launched the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones. At the end of the launch event, the company had revealed that it would be soon launching Realme XT phone with 64-megapixel quad camera system. Today, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed through a tweet that the Realme XT will go official in India on Sept. 13. The same phone will be announced in China on Sept. 20.

The tweet from Sheth states that the Realme XT phone will be arriving as India’s first phone with 64-megapixel quad camera system. The launch event will take place at 12:30 on Sept. 13.

Realme XT Specifications

On Aug. 28 i.e. a day before Redmi had launched Redmi Note 8 Pro as the world’s first smartphone with 64-megapixel quad camera setup, Realme had held a special event in China to unleash the Realme XT phone. The event had confirmed the entire specs of the phone.

The Realme XT has a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. It offers full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 712 SoC is present under the hood of the device and it is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. The SoC is supported by 8 GB of LPDDR4X Ram and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The quad camera system of the phone has Samsung GW1 64-megapixel primary lens, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel, a dedicated macro camera of 2-megapixel and a depth sensor of 2-megapixel. The front notch of the phone has a 16-megpaixel selfie snapper. It has an in-screen fingerprint reader.

Realme XT Pro is also coming?

A reliable tipster from China had recently claimed that China may receive Realme XT and Realme XT Pro smartphones. The Pro model is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 730G processor and has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone is rumored to support 30W fast charging. The rest of the specs of the phone are said to be same as its regular edition. There is no information on the pricing of the Realme XT and XT Pro smartphones.
