Huawei is all set to launch the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones next week. The event will take place in Munich, Germany on September 19. Ahead of the official launch, we have come across a number of leaks giving us a rough idea on what to expect. Now, the latest Huawei Mate 30 Pro leak shows off the waterfall (dual-edge curve) display.

An alleged picture of the Mate 30 Pro was posted to the China-based microblogging website, Sina Weibo. The image gives us a look at the waterfall display that contours around the edge of the smartphone. The waterfall screen’s curved bezels are far more exaggerated than what’s available on the OnePlus 7 Pro and the Huawei P30 Pro.

The wide notch seen at the top of the display is absolutely huge this time around, and it appears to house a total of three camera sensors. That’s not necessarily accurate though. It may look like a triple camera, but it may actually be a Time of Flight (ToF) system with a light emitter and sensor. The selfie camera resolution is unknown for now.

Huawei’s Mate 30 series is set to be unveiled at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19. According to rumors, the Mate 30 Pro will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the back of the phone will be two 40MP cameras, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 3D ToF sensor.
