Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 9 Pro 5G smartphone tomorrow alongside the Mi MIX Alpha phone. A leaked poster that appeared today Weibo has leaked the purported pricing of the Mi 9 Pro 5G. Now, reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal has shared the storage, RAM and color variants of the Mi 9 Pro 5G. In addition, he has also leaked the same details for the upcoming Redmi 8 budget phone.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G
According to tipster, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G will be arriving in two variants such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. This contradicts the pricing leak that appeared earlier today that claimed that 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage are the two editions of the Mi 9 Pro 5G. Also, China is expected to receive the Mi 9 Pro in Dream White and Titanium Black colors.
The TENAA listing of the phone has revealed the entire specs of the Mi 9 Pro 5G. It features a full HD+ 6.39-inch AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint reader, Snapdragon 855+, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, 48-megapixel triple camera, 20-megapixel front camera and 4,000mAh battery. The handset will be coming with support for 40W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
Redmi 8
The Redmi 8 is tipped to release in 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage editions in China. Phantom Red, Fairy Green, Carbon Ash and Sapphire Blue could be the color variants of the smartphone. There is no information available on the pricing and release date of the Redmi 8.
Its TENAA appearance has revealed that it has a 6.21-inch HD+ display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, up to 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, 5,000mAh battery, 12-megapixel dual camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
Xiaomi India has recently confirmed that it will be announcing the Redmi 8A entry-level smartphone in India on Sept. 25. There is no confirmation on whether the company will be also announcing the Redmi 8 alongside it.
