On Sept. 3, Google had rolled out the Android 10 update to its Pixel devices and some third-party phones including the Chinese edition of the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro. Numerous Indian users of the Redmi K20 Pro are now claiming on a discussion thread on Mi Forums that they are now receiving the stable edition of the MIUI 10 based Android 10 upgrade.

The Android 10 update for Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro in India brings along MIUI v10.4.8 QFKINXM. The size of the update is 2.2 GB. The changelog of the update states that it carries optimizations for 32-bit apps that reduces the rate of force close and a fix for random reboot on the handset.

The Redmi K20 Pro Android 10 update comes with dark theme, gesture-based navigation and ability to prioritize notifications according to the preferences of the user. Some of the other features that are included in the update are improved permission manager, digital wellbeing, front camera effects and more ambient display preset. Few of the naïve features like Smart Reply that are found on the stock edition of Android 10 are not available in the update.
