Late last month, Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 7T at an event held in India. While the company was also expected to unveil its elder sibling, the OnePlus 7T Pro, the high-end flagship was nowhere to be found. At least that is what we believed so far.

Technically, the OnePlus 7T Pro did make an appearance at the same event, however, it barely stayed on the presentation display, therefore it was overlooked by most attendees and online viewers.

Recently, a tipster who goes by the username Sudhanshu Ambhore figured this out and took on to the microblogging website, Twitter where he shared both a screenshot and time stamp (18:01) of the webstream that is still available to watch on Youtube (also present at the bottom of this article).

As previously mentioned, the OnePlus 7T Pro did not stay on the display for long, hence not much was revealed about the upcoming device. Having said that, the small glimpse was enough to showcase the design and layout of its back panel.

While the placement of the OnePlus logo, arrangement and number of sensors in the rear camera setup remain the same as its predecessor,Ā the OnePlus 7T Pro has an additional oval-shaped element whose details are currently unknown.

Based upon our assumptions, this could be a rear-facing microphone covered by a mesh grille which is also present on the newly launched Apple iPhone 11 lineup. If this turns out true, the OnePlus 7T Pro will be able to record finer audio details which will improve the overall video output.

Also unconfirmed at the point, OnePlus might be aiming for something similar to “Zoom-in mic” which was first introduced with LG smartphones and has now been incorporated by Samsung in its latest Galaxy Note 10 lineup.

There are hardly any details available about theĀ specifications of the OnePlus 7T Pro. With that being said, it is destined to get the latest Snapdragon 855+ chipset and faster Warp Charge 30T like the previously launched OnePlus 7T.

At the time of OnePlus 7 Pro‘s launch, the only existing smartphone with 90 Hz display was the original Asus ROG Phone. Now that Asus has launched the ROG Phone 2 with a 120 Hz display, it will be interesting to see whether OnePlus also embraces a higher refresh rate display with its latest smartphone or not.

The OnePlus 7T Pro is tipped to launch on the 10th of October, therefore we won’t have to wait for long in order to verify the authenticity of claims made in this article.

We will update you whenever more details about the smartphone are released, so stay tuned.
