Chinese smartphone maker, Realme which came into existence over a year ago as an offshoot of Oppo has launched a wide variety of smartphones until now. The Realme lineup which started with chronology 1 has already reached 5, excluding the number 4 which is considered unlucky in China.

Having said that, the company has not abandoned software support on some of its earliest handsets. Realme 1 and Realme U1, in this context, are receiving a the latest version of ColorOS 6 which upgrades their security patch to October 2019. Besides, the update also introduces the Dark Mode which is rapidly gaining popularity with each passing day.

According to a senior Realme official, the OTA update is being rolled out in batches which have already reached about 5% users and all the remaining users shall receive it within a week.
