After numerous leaks, Apple has finally launched the long-awaited AirPods Pro that supports active noise cancellation. Not even 24 hours have passed since their official unveiling and Chinese replicas have already started appearing. One such example is the Vpods Pro that is available for purchase on Giztop.
In comparison to the original AirPods Pro that is priced at $249, the Vpods Pro is much more affordable at just $39.99. They have an in-ear style design with silicone buds and an elongated stem that accommodates two charging pin connectors. The charging/resting case features a soft close flap and three LED indicators that represent their remaining charge.
While these don’t look exactly identical to the originals, we know where the name was derived from. Despite having a disparate design, naming it this way would allow them to stand apart from the bunch which would ideally result in sales boost.

Having said that, according to a known tipster, the production of exact replicas of the AirPods Pro has also started in China and they will soon be available for purchase. The tweet shared above exhibits a pair of TWS that is made out of white plastic and looks homogenous to the latest audio accessory from Apple.

In the past, Chinese manufacturers have managed to replicate AirPods that not only look precisely like the originals but they also support the quick connect feature despite lack of an Apple certified H1 chip. It will be interesting to see, to what extent can the AirPods Pro be replicated. Will, they also support ANC (active noise cancellation) which is the key highlighting feature of the originals.
To get answers to all these questions and learn about their price, we will have to wait until they are listed on sites like Aliexpress or Youtube videos surface.
