An official tweet released by Xiaomi earlier this week confirmed that the company is gearing up to launch the Mi Note 10 smartphone. Both phones have appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform. Their Geekbench listings have revealed that the Mi Note 10 is a rebranded version of Mi CC9 Pro.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Geekbench screenshot reveals that it runs on Android 9 Pie OS and it is powered by an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 1.8GHz along with 4 GB of RAM. It has scored 544 in the single-core test of Geekbench and 1713 in its multi-core test.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Geekbench screengrab states that it boots to Android 9 Pie OS. It is driven by octa-core processor with 1.8GHz base frequency and 8 GB of RAM. In the single-core test, it has scored 545 and it has recorded 1640 in the multi-core test. The Mi CC9 Pro is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 730G mobile platform. Hence, it is likely that the Mi Note 10 will be also fueled by the same SoC.
Also, both listing carries the same ‘Tucana’ codename which indicates both are identical devices. It appears that the Xiaomi Tucana phone will be launching in China as Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and markets outside the home market will be receiving it as Xiaomi Mi Note 10. The Chinese firm will be also launching the more powerful Mi Note 10 Pro alongside the Mi Note 10. There is a possibility that the Mi Note 10 Pro model could be featuring Snapdragon 855+ SoC.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Specifications
The full specs of the Mi CC9 Pro are known through its TENAA listing. It is coming with 6.47-inch OLED full HD+ display with waterdrop notch. It will come with up to 8 GB of RAM and its highest model will have 256 GB of native storage. The Android 9 Pie OS will run on the device with MIUI 11 skin onboard.
The Mi CC9 Pro will be powered by a minimum capacity battery of 5,260mAh battery. The rear shell of the phone has dual OIS powered 108-megapixel five camera system with a pair of dual LED flash units. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel. It has a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.
