Gionee continues to make efforts to ensure that its celebrated comeback into the tech industry attains the needed goal of giving the company a slice of the pie. The company launched the Gionee M11 and M11s as well as the Gionee K3 in September. The company is perhaps trying to elicit nostalgia with the launch of its latest phone. The Gionee A326 is a flip phone that brings to mind the classic era when flip phones held sway.
The phone features a clamshell design which is compact and easy to carry around. The main display shouldn’t be more than 2.8 inches wide while there is a smaller secondary display at the front which should display the time and notifications. It comes in black colour as the main colour but there are other colour options of Starry Blue, Elegant red and what looks like Rose Gold. The design affirms the superior craftsmanship for which Gionee is known. In terms of hardware, Gionee A326 supports dual SIM card and dual standby and has a long standby time.

Other details are not revealed but this isn’t likely an Android phone since the specs are of feature phone level. It may likely run KaiOS.
The pricing and availability have not been announced but with this model, Gionee hinted that it is attempting to satisfy the needs of the compact phone niche markets in an era where almosts all brands are focused on large-display, touchscreen models.
