Budget smartphone manufacturer Infinix teased a new device for the Indian market on Nov. 12. The Infinix S5 Lite is scheduled to launch at 12:00 PM on Nov. 15, on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. The official teaser page of the S5 Lite on Walmart-owned Flipkart shares a few highlights of the device like a punch-hole display, triple-camera setup at the rear and a price tag below Rs. 10,000. Detailed specifications of the device are currently unknown, but that will change post the launch event tomorrow.
Infinix S5 Lite Specifications and Features (Rumored)
According to previous reports, the Infinix S5 Lite flaunts a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole design. It carries support for a display resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics the S5 Lite sports a triple-camera setup. The primary lens uses a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture rating of f/2.0. it is mated to a 2-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel QVGA sensor. The front camera uses a 16-megapixel sensor that sits within the punch-hole. Camera aids include 4-in-1 super pixel technology for greater clarity, Bokeh Mode, AR Emoji and AI Scene Detection.
The Infinix S5 Lite smartphone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with Xcharge fast charging and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with XOS 5.5 on top. Connectivity options include dual-SIM connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, and 3.5mm AUX port.
Infinix S5 Lite Price and Availability
The Infinix S5 Lite has been teased on Flipkart at Rs. 7,999 (~$111). There is no information on when the device will hit the showrooms. Additional information on color options and variants is currently unavailable.
The Infinix S5 Lite is a lighter version of the Infinix S5 phone that had launched with a price tag of Rs. 8,999 (~$125) in India last month. Also, the S5 Lite has already gone official in Nigeria earlier this week.
