Samsung launched the Galaxy A70s in India back in September 2019. It is the first smartphone from the South Korean tech giant to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. With the Galaxy A70s, Samsung plans to take on the Realme XT and the Redmi Note 8 Pro, both of which flaunt 64-megapixel primary cameras. The Galaxy A70s was recently seen listed on the Chinese eCommerce platform Jingdong Mall for 2,699 Yuan (~$384).

The Samsung Galaxy A70s is available in three color variants, namely Dazzling Red, Diamond White and Spectral Black in China The smartphone is priced at 2,699 Yuan (~$384) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. No other variants are currently listed on JD.com.

Samsung offers two variants of the Galaxy A70s in India. While the base variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage is priced at Rs. 28,999 (~$403). The higher-spec 8 GB + 128 GB variant is priced at Rs. 30,999 (~$431).

The Samsung Galaxy A70s flaunts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display Infinity-U display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 20:9. The device is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card. The A70s flaunts a triple-camera setup at the rear. The primary camera uses a 64-megapixel unit that is paired with an 8-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel lens. The front camera uses a 32-megapixel unit.

The Galaxy A70s draws power from a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W Superfast charge and runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based OneUI. The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports Face Unlock. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone port. The A70s measures 164.3 x 76.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 187 grams.
