Huawei‘s Smart Screen TV has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. The smart TV was listed on the website of WiFi Alliance on November 19 and it has the model number “OSCA-550Y” which also cliched Bluetooth certification only a few days earlier. 
The model number suggests that this is likely the 55-inch model which is one of the screen size options the Huawei Smart Screen comes in. The smart TV is also available in 65-inch and 75-inch models. Also, the smart TV listing shows it runs Huawei’s own HarmonyOS just like the variant launched in China.

The Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth certifications are indicators that the Smart Screen may soon go on sale in the global market, especially in Europe. The Huawei Smart Screen was first announced in Germany at IFA but hs yet to go on sale anywhere outside China. The company only launched the Honor Vision and Vision Pro in India. If the Huawei smart TV goes on sale in Europe, it will be the first HarmonyOS-powered device that would be sold in the EU.
