ColorOS 7 was officially announced yesterday with a bunch of audio-visual enhancements and feature additions. However, we were disappointed to hear that Realme X2 Pro would be one of the last phones to receive the update, as late as April 2020.

Realme CMO X2 Pro ColorOS 7

Today, Realme CMO has revealed that the ColorOS 7 early adopter program for the Realme X2 Pro will kick on December 18, which is just a few weeks away. So those who can’t wait to get an early taste of ColorOS 7 can look forward to this program. However, this date is for users in China and we still don’t have a date for the international Realme X2 Pro users. But we should hear more about this on November 26, when OPPO officially unveils the ColorOS 7 in India.

Note that the ColorOS 7 early adopter program for devices like the OPPO Reno, Reno 10X Zoom, and Reno Ace is already live. Users in China can register to become an early adopter via their smartphones. You can read more about it here. As for the ColorOS 7, it brings a lighter visual interface that’s easy on the eyes and less saturated in colors. Feature additions include system-wide dark mode with forced dark mode for third-party apps, three-finger screenshot and editing, a special flashback button for multitasking, and new UI customization options.
