Last month, Huawei announced the 5G Mobile WiFi Pro, a 5G modem that allows you to connect your non-5G devices to a 5G network. When it was announced, Huawei didn’t reveal the price. Thankfully, a pre-order listing on Vmall now includes the price.
The standard edition of the 5G Mobile WiFi has a price tag of ¥1699 (~$242) while the pro version called the 5G Mobile WiFi Pro is ¥2199 (~$313).
The portable 5G modems support NSA and SA 5G networks and will offer connection speeds of up to 1.56Gbps and internet speeds of up to 867Mbps. Both modems have a Balong 5000 5G modem and they double as power banks too.
The standard edition has a 4000mAh battery and support for 18W fast charge while the Pro version has an 8000mAh battery with support for 40W input fast charging, 22.5W output wired charging, and 15W reverse wireless charging.
The pre-order page doesn’t say when it will begin shipping next month but you are required to pay a deposit of ¥100 (~$14).
