HMD Global has announced it has an event on December 5 for the unveiling of a new member of the Nokia family. There are speculations that the launch is for the Nokia 8.2 based on the fact that the Nokia 8.1 launched on December 5 last year. However, there is another Nokia device that has been popping up in the news and that is the budget Nokia 2.3.

Info about the phone first leaked at the beginning of the month. The leak was from the database of a distributor and it revealed the phone’s name, model number, and the three color variants it will be available in. Today, a new leak reveals the price of the phone in Chile.

First reported by NokiaPowerUser, a screenshot from an unknown Chilean store shows the listing of the Charcoal variant of the phone with a price tag of CLP($) 97,378 which converts to about $119. That is cheaper than the US$139 launch price of the Nokia 2.2 in the US.

The listing is for the Charcoal variant but there is no picture of the phone, so we have no idea what it looks like.

The Nokia 2.3 is expected to come with an HD display not less than 6.1-inches and a battery capacity of 3920mAh. It is also expected to have Bluetooth 5.0.
